Finally Forever

3 out of 5 stars

This is a review of Finally Forever by Katie Kacvinsky. This is the second book in

this series about a young baseball player and the girl he falls in love with over the

summer. In book 1 they break up at the end and book 2 starts 15 months later when

they have a chance meeting in Omaha Nebraska at a restaurant parking lot. Dylan

(the main female) is stranded and Gray (the main male) happens to stop there for

supper. Gray is on his way back to Arizona. Dylan is also on her way there as well.

Dylan is a free spirit that doesn’t know what she really wants if life. Everything is an

adventure for her. Gray is almost opposite in that he needs a plan for everything and

wants to be grounded.

Gray ends up giving Dylan a ride to Arizona and they end up on a journey of

rediscovering each other. Along their trip they realize that they are both still in love

with each other. During this time they get reacquainted and decide if they can be

together after all.

I unfortunately found this book a little boring. There didn’t seem to be any awe-

inspiring moments at all. I wish the author had made it a bit more heart wrenching.

It just seemed to go from one moment to another without any great surprises.
